Dr. Michelle grew up in Shanghai and Perth, Australia. She is the founder of up!health and has been practising since 2008, with most of that time spent in Hong Kong. Michelle became interested in maternity and newborn care early in her career through her mentor who ran a successful family practice in Brisbane. Her own experience with physical and mental recovery after becoming a mother deepened her passion for providing postnatal care and educating her patients on the importance of self-care during major life transitions, such as parenthood.
